Lauren Francescone is an American graphic designer currently living and working in Berlin. Using video, printed matter, and digital images, she appropriates and reconfigures familiar graphic formats to foreground the effects of taken-for-granted design choices. Her work also explores the medium of graphic design and its capacity to evoke desire. She received an MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University in 2011 and a BS in Architecture from the University of Virginia in 2005.
